I must say, I could not agree with you in 100%, but that's just my IMHO, which could be wrong.
p.s. You have an awesome template . Where did you find it?

I really enjoyed the book. It gave me the opportunity to solve a mystery, on my own:
I was reading Holy Blood and the Holy Grail when I came across the “mystery” of the bas relief based on Poussin’s painting “Les Bergers d’Acadie." The authors said that the inscription DOUSOVAVVM was impossible to decipher, even with a computer. That sounded too wild to be true and I took the challenge of solving the mystery, without a computer. It took four hours to solve, hardly impossible to decipher. My proof is listed below, I will not go into details of the references, they can easily be found on the Internet.

Clues to the Solution (not in order)
•	Village of Rennes-le-Chateau is perched on a rocky outcrop.
•	Antoine Bigou miscarved the date MDCCLXXI as MDCOLXXXI. He changed C to O (not a Roman Numeral) and added an extra X or number 10 (1781)
•	Poussin painted Les Bergers d’Acadie (1635-50) – the title is French.
•	Sauniere discovered a parchment (1891) “Shepherdess…Poussin…hold the KEY…”
•	Location of Poussin painting of Les Pointls, near Rennes-le-Chateau.
•	A reverse bas relief carving of Les Bergers d’Acadie, by Stuart is located at Shugborough house near Staffordshire England (1755) (51.28N 0.00W)
•	There are eight letters on one line of the bas relief, two letters on next line
•	Sauniere decoded the messages and found the Grail even though he was not a Templar initiate – he did not possess the esoteric knowledge thought to be needed.

Solution (Order of learning the clues is unimportant):
1.Poussin painted Les Bergers d’Acadie, it depicts a shepherdess. - CLUE
2.	Sauniere parchment refers to Poussin – KEY # 2
Location can be determined now, if you have KEY #2
3.Bas relief is a “REVERSE” of Poussin’s painting. – CLUE
4.There are 10 letters on inscription, eight on one line. – CLUE
5.Bas relief has a casket obscuring view of Rennes le Chateau. – CLUE
6.Bigou replaced C with O and added reference to number 10 – KEY # 1
7.REVERSE what Bigou did - replace O with C in the eight-letter word.
8.Read the word REVERSED (i.e. upside down and mirrored) This gives for the first line: AAVACSnC
9.This is an anagram, in French: "Ca Canvas” meaning (That Picture).	The bas-relief in England is obscuring the location of the Holy Grail in France. You need to see the original painting to find the right location after you find KEY #1. D and M seem to be added to give 10 letters total.
Obviously
1.The Grail can be found without the bas relief, if you have KEY # 1.
2.The Grail can be found without the parchment, if you have KEY # 2.
No esoteric knowledge needed. Solution by Ed McGrath May 16, 2007 (not January 17th)

Next Puzzle to Look for: Do the carvings show a "Path to the Grail" similar to the "Path of Illumination" in Rome?" Both prominently show pyramids.
Rennes-le-Chateau is due South (800 mi) from Sheffield England (42.55N 02.16E)
Shugborough lies exactly on the prime meridian
Casket shown in bas relief by Stuart (1755) has a pyramid on top of it.
Mis dated headstone by Bigou (1781) has triangular peak top (pyramid).
Is headstone of 1781 a replacement key for the 1755 bas relief? Where is the old key? ca 1755?
Was the Grail located two miles West of Rennes-le-Chateau, on the prime meridian?
